Camper Back Hardware not Stainless

On my Camper Back frame there is one style of hardware that is not taking to the saltwater very good, all other are fine. It is the External Eye End 7/8"
I found some that was listed as 316 Stainless Ends is that a good grade of stainless? Or what is a good grade of stainless?
Thanks Jim

I need to add a few things, I had it made on a fresh water lake, 300 miles from saltwater. A very good Custom top builder, but I did not ask for Full Stainless Fittings, so I take that to be my problem. I had the boat in saltwater for several weeks this winter.

316 Stainless is considered Marine grade. Unfortunately many of the fittings which are purchased and used today are made in China. They may say "316", but they are not. I have had a number of items on the boat rust, including factory items. I used Rust Away or Naval Jelly, which turns the ferrous oxide to a phosphate, and then keep the SS coated with corrosion block

Thanks all,
Thanks for the replys on stainless fittings on what to get & how to take care of them once you get them installed.
