Camping chairs

A new model out that is compact and a good price. They have them locally here in Fife at Sportco for a bit over 32 bucks each.

Just got one to replace another today and it actually has decent back support and is comfy for a tall person. The design is also pretty simple and looks to be more durable than some others.

We discovered last year that the design below while light and compact, does not stand up well to use in sand because the legs sink and spread apart which will break the plastic part holding each pair of legs together.

James,
These are very nice for the Tomcat cockpit, and take up less space than your dog.

We find them to be more comfortable, more quiet, less expensive and more obedient than most large dogs, and when you grow tired of them, you don't have to put them to sleep, just leave them at the end of the driveway and someone will take them away.
Of course, your style may vary.

We used these at Hontoon for the first time and liked them...wide, firm seats and all aluminum.

For the beach we use 'disposable' cheap steel folders, as the salt will corrode the weakest parts fast, and get 1 season out them typically even if sprayed with Boeshield etc. and rinsed after every use.
Happy Shopping!

I bought a pair of Loden Xpress Chairs from Camping World a couple of years ago. I like how they're light and fold flat and small. Ours fit under the gunnels very nicely. And of course, when we bought them they were offering them in GREEN!

Actually I need to give a shout-out to Rick on C-Dawg, he found the chairs first.

We have two very similar to these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BDOAGQA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00

Comfortable, strong and the side table is a plus. The negative is they are huge, even when folded flat. I'm not convinced they are the best option. I find myself constantly moving them from one place to another, just to get them out of the way when not in use; under the dinette, into the head, out to the cockpit, in to the dinghy on the roof...you get it. A real PIA. We have had others, but they were very uncomfortable, especially with M's lower back issues.

This is the best quality chair, most comfortable and everyone tries to steal it. It comes in three heights, two colors very storable and light weight. extremely strong. I have had 2 for years and use them constantly. Sporting events, coaching, 6061 salt water aluminum (I believe) , it sets up well in the sand and holds.

I would post a picture but can't figure out how!
