Canvas top C-Dory - I have one. Does anyone else?

I have a C-Dory Offshore. It does not have a solid superstructure but instead, has canvas: bimini, side curtains, zip-up cabin door, slantback cockpit cover. Here is the relevant data:
1988 20'10" C-Dory Off Shore
Boat Serial #/HIN: DOR 20005A888
Originally sold by Marben Marine 6-29-89
Equipped with a Johnson 140 and Johnson 8 outboards
The person I bought this from told me he bought it from the C-Dory factory where it had been used as a demo boat. I called C-Dory several years ago regarding this boat, especially the high HP motor, and asked them about it. They could tell me nothing about it. This is the only C-Dory convertible I have ever seen. Has anyone else ever encountered a C-Dory like this? If so, can you tell me anything about it? If I knew how to post a pic on this site I would do so.

I just joined this site with the same question!! Funny thing for all out there, I now own this boat. Dick and I have kept in touch and discussed this very issue. I have had several people inquire about this boat and I believe it is the only one the factory ever built. Nice having something nobody else has! I'll keep looking Dick, if I ever find another one out there I'll let you know.

Back in the days, OK? There are several one off's or one of's, and looks like this is a rare one. Enjoy, show it off, and let's see it on the water.

Someone else will have to help with the photo thing.
