CD25 Roller or bunk trailer

Well, I have a lot of respect for Bob's knowledge. Never-the-less, I picked a roller trailer for several reasons.

First, my first boat had a bunk trailer, some time ago. I never could adjust the bunks to eliminate all the gaps, so that the boat was supported just at several points. Worked well, but bunks don't make perfect contact. It seemed to me, that if there was going to be point contact, at least the rollers would automatically adjust, whilst the wood bunks wouldn't.

Second, I launch at a bunch of out of the way launch ramps, and I want to made sure that I can get the boat back on. I needed this feature to load at Copper Harbour, Michigan last summer, or I could wait until the next day. It was tough with a hand winch, but the boat got back on. I also need the rollers to launch at Long Beach, Ca at low tide. Glad I had rollers, so I didn't need to bury the truck in order to float the boat.

Third, if you want to be hoisted in, some hoists don't accept bunk trailers. This is true at Des Moines, Wa, though I understand that you can cut the bunks away so they can put straps in (if you're willing to cut your bunks.)

Finally, it's each persons choice. People are happy with both. For a C-25, don't forget electric/hydraulic brakes.
