CDory 26???

I was looking at a fishing article in today's Oregonian Travel Section, and came across a reference to a CDory 26. Were there a few of these made, or is this perhaps a Clipper?

I'm sure the more history minded will pipe up ,bu as far as I know the 26 C-Dory was a different hull design than the usual C-Dory's, and was a "walk-around" style mainly used by the commercial charter fishing boat folks. Not sure how many, but there were a good bunch built it seems , with most of them in the Alaska area doing the fishing duty.
 
Look in my photo album. There are two different versions of a 26' C-Dory.
Also the one in the post above....one like it for sale in Gustavus, Alaska. An old charter boat.
 
Wonder why they got away from the full transom and motor bracket. In my opinion this is a much better arrangement than the current set up.
