Center console C-Dory 22?

Question for the group. Is there any brand of center console fishing boat that uses the same hull shape as the C-Dory. Love the C-Dory hull for fishing and cruising shallow water but don't need or want the cabin.

I have seen photos of c-dorys from the past with only a center consol in a fishing book called salt water salmon angling by bob morttarm in 1989. but have never seen one in the flesh.

I wonder if C-Dory used to make a center console model back in the 80's and since then have just built cabin models?

I think that they made both at the same time and then dropped the center console line at some point. a center console in the north west is not very useful.
 
Thanks for the information. Maybe someone in this group will know of a center console fishing boat that is currently being manufactured and has a V dory hull.

Check out Tolman Alaskan Skiffs (do a google search). They have a dory hull, and look a lot like a C-dory, but I've seen them with a center consol configuration. The down side is that they aren't being manufactured - they are home built from plans. There are some custom manufacturers building them, though, or if you are handy, I think they are within reach of an ambitious amateur woodworker.
 
C-Dory did once make a center-console v-hull, 22' I think. I think it was called the "Offshore" model. There's one in this area that I see from time to time.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I will call the factory and find out if they know of anyone building a center console using their hull style. Glen-L design has one in a plans only version called the V Dory but I don't have the time or patience to even consider a project of that magnitude.
