Awesome! It vindicated our Seahawks, Charlie's Redskins and our resident Cheeseheads' Packers! Of course there may be some Pats fans here, but tonight we love the NFC and the New Jersey Giants!!!!

I can't even talk about the game....our offensive line did not show up against their defensive line, Brady did not have a chance, sacked more times in this ONE GAME than the entire season, Manning had some great scrambles, and they got away with a blatant hand to the face when they caught the 40 something yard pass.

The Giants played a better football game and they deserved to win.

Brutal night and day in New England.

Interesting article about perfection vs. excellence in Sunday's NY Times here

More importantly, if you want to see and rate the ads, look
here

Finally, just sos this is all boat related, is there any truth to the rumor that the Manning family is trying to buy Tom Brady's boat?

That young Manning really earned this game.

I didn't have a favorite to start with but found myself rooting for the Giants late. The swagger and arogance from the NE guys got a little old, and that one play when Eli got away so many times showed me a whole lot about why he was playing.

My bet is Manning will go for the V29 instead of buying the Brady boat.

I watched the halftime show, too. Tom Petty should have stuck to racing stock cars 'cause he don't sing all that great. But at least he kept his clothes on and he sounds a whole lot better than Mick Jagger did.

OK, I just have to be a smart alec...

My son-in-law was a head football coach, and a shirt-tail brother-in-law coached state champion high school teams, college, and a European semi-pro team, and me.... I don't see what the big deal is. Maybe more people should play football, so it keeps them off my rivers.

Michner had saying that football is like politics. It takes someone smart enough to play the game, and crazy enough to think it is important.

Ok, I have thoroughly disgraced myself, partly with humor and partly not.

Apologies in advance.

Steve
