Cleaning Sunbrella Canvas

Any suggestions on good products and techniques to clean my sunbrella canvas and bimini top?

After a year of exposure it has a lot of black water streaks, a few bird blessings, and a couple of dark smudges.

Very helpful. Thanks Cheers. For the longest time I've been struggling with pesky lipstick and mascara stains, defeated in my quest to eradicate them.

OK "mild natural soap" is obviously a code word for, uh, what? When I go to the store which mild natual soap am I looking for?

Thanks!

Direct from Glen Raven Mills (Maker of Sunbrella) web site:

"Always use a mild soap i.e. Ivory Snow, Dreft or Woolite. Never detergent.
Water should be cold to lukewarm. Never more than 100 degrees.
Air dry only. Never apply heat to Sunbrella fabrics."

Note that the liquid "Ivory Snow" is a detergent..so it should not be used.

We shave pieces off of Ivory soap. You can also mix in a dilute solution of chlorox

The 303 for fabric (not vinly) is the best protectorant. 303 also now makes a cleaner for fabric, which is endorsed by Glen Raven Mills for Sunbrella.
