Not to vary too far from Pat's topic... we wanted to echo his feelings also.
now part deux for us. We have been very busy down here in the South Sound. Of course mostly with Tacoma Outboard Association, then our son has gotten into the act ala Pat and Patty's celebration.
First ,as Vice Commodore at TOA, I am the Cruise Captain, and have to organize all the cruises, this along with my officer duties , is why we missed Lopez This year and felt bad about that for sure.
Now we have our Commodore's Cruise coming up June 23, 24th, at Jerrel Cove on Hartstine Isle, THE BIG ONE for me to get set up, and so what did our Son do? ... Of course he and his lady want to get married on the 23rd! Such a blessed event!! First, I thought ok, I can be in 2 places at once...nope... kid comes first... we got the Cruise figured out, now the Wedding.
It will be held at TOA"s Clubhouse and all the C-Brats are invited just RSVP us . However anyone got ideas on a Reverend that can marry them? I do boats sometimes but not this... Help!!!!

Jim --

We have fond memories of you blessing the new C-Dorys. You had all the look of a great preacher. Now -- how about you -- captain of your ship -- marrying the couple?? Thus, you are two places at once -- on the boat and with your son and his new wife.

We married our middle son on a boat (as skippers of the boat) and it has left them and many others with priceless memories (mostly good).

Jim- congrats on the son tieing the knot. Sound like you have a full plate going on. I will talk to susan about it but I am sure she will love to come. Getting married in a boat house? Sound like the start to a good marriage.
