Construction Question

As many (some) of you were fortunate enough to be present during the construction of your boats - a question. What is under the floor of the head on the 25'? My toilet is mounted directly to the floor using lag bolts, and I was wondering what they were screwed into.

Not there for construction, but I hope it is plywood. If not it is balsa core. As I sounded out my 2003 25, my impression was plywood.

I know that they changed the head at some point, but I doubt that they changed the head enclosure mold. So, I assume that the 2006 and 2005 head enclosures are the same.

The head in Journey On is bolted to the floor. The floor is a separate molding, raised above the hull a couple of inches, and you can peek underneath by looking through the bilge pump compartment and see what's going on. If that doesn't satisfy you, pull a bolt out. It's not glued in the hull but the head pan. You can also look where the outen going hose passes through the floor.
