Cummins QSD Maintenance Manual ERROR!

I think there is a possible error in the Cummins QSD 2.0 Maintenance Manual CMD-408227. On page 50 concerning changing the transmission oil they state that the capacity of the transmission is "1.6 Liters / 2.7 Quarts." 1.6 L = 1.69 qt.(US Liq). / 2.7 qt.(US Liq) = 2.55 L. I think someone made an error buy adding one too many US Quarts in the conversion! I measured the oil that was removed from the transmission = 1.5 US quarts. There is probably a little bit of oil still remaining in the transmission. I would highly recommend that one might think twice before adding 2.7 Quarts to the transmission on a refill...

Thanks for the tip on the tranny capacity - I was looking over your images and it looks like you've done some pretty innovative mods on the tug.

Looks like ranger did address a few items such as larger cleats and the water and fuel tanks are hooked up to the Smartcraft display now.

I did want to ask you how much difference it made when you added the insulation on your hatch and did you decide to just leave off the Cummins Tupperware cover? I was going to dump the cover since it obstructs looking the engine over!
