Custom generator shelf

I have a 1000 Honda that I use on my 22 - I usually place it on top of my cooler and point the exhaust toward the engine when I operate it. While looking at ads for used C-Dory's for sale I noticed that under accessories a few indicate "custom generator shelf".

Anyone know what this refers to or better yet have a picture?

I have seen a couple of these custom generator platforms, both on CD-25s. One was wood with bungee hold-downs and the other was fiberglass or some sort of plastic material with a 2 inch wide hold-down strap. Both were mounted at splashwell level with the generator exhaust pointed aft. Both setups got the generators up out of the way and above the gunnels for safety.
