Differences between 2007 and 2017 25 Cruiser.

Hey, Ken, it's good to hear you're so happy with your new 25! May you have many wonderful cruising days together.
:love

Ken congrats on your new 25, glad you are enjoying it! I agree NMI is doing a first class job on construction. Not a single issue yet on my 2016, just returned from 100 hour service.

Oh and people harping on NMI about cutting corners because of the fuel caps, seriously? Gotta say, they are the NICEST fuel caps I've ever had on a boat! Glad I don't need a key for them, and not being a flush isn't an issue with their placement on the 22 - they are nowhere near any place I would ever step onto the boat, and they aren't noticeably higher than the lazarette hatches next to them (see photo) Maybe it's different on the 25's.

The 200 Yamaha was worth the extra $$ in my humble opinion. 33 knots at 6,000 RPM on flat water.

I have a Yamaha 200 now. Still dealing with prop pitch. You get to 6000 RPM at WOT with what sort of prop?

Mobile East Marine talked with the prop people several times and came up with a 13. They said since I'll cruise (heavy) that the 13 would be better.

So far so good but I'll report back.

The '07 nor the '17 had this until Friday. My neighbor made it by hand, out of teak, w/o power tools. I really like the look!

That table is a beaut! Very classy. What's that hanging lamp??

Thanks! The lamp was a boat gift from Carrie at Mobile East Marine where I bought the boat. The hook on hand rail is a power cord hook that you put on the bow rail. Looks kinda cool put does not work underway!

I was gonna say that lamp is gonna swaaaaayyyyy.
