Does the Tohatsu 6HP fit on a 22's transom?

Hi,

I think I saw people have this setup, but wanted to get confirmation.

Does the Tohatsu 6HP kicker fit directly on a 22's transom? I got a 2015 Yamaha 6HP and was irked that the transom clamp bracket was slightly too small to fit over the transom. I was considering a mount like the Mini Jacker, but my local shop's schedule is full for the summer.

It does. I have a 6hp Tohatasu mounted on the port side of my Suzuki 115 without a kicker bracket. I tied the main and kicker together. The clearance is tight when turning hard, but I’m happy with the setup.
 
I used the mini jacker when I placed the Tohatsu 6 on my 22. Look at my photo albums under Midnight Flyer, and go to the nested album on my kicker install. I had trim tabs, and the kicker would not have cleared those had I mounted it right on the transom. Colby
 
yes, my 22' is sporting a 2017 tohatsu 6hp long shaft side by side on the transom with my yamaha 90 with the dolphin fin. The only real problem is the 6hp tiller handle must be tilted up for tight turns left.
