It is with deep sorrow and flowing tears that I must write this,
as I am mindful that he was not only my father, but a friend to
many in this group.

He died on the evening of June 24th, after nearly three months
of intensive care. We were together when he died.

David, Dixie and I sent our sincere sympathy for your loss. Donald was a special guy, always positive and easy going, willing to see the best in any situation. He will be missed.

David, we are very sorry. We will always remember how willing your dad was to go places and do things. His 80th birthday celebration was the best. He was a part of the group and he will be missed.

It was a pleasure to get to meet your Dad on those 2 Delta trips, he will be in our thoughts. You, your dad, and your family were an inspiration to me for making life an adventure no matter what the physical limitations were.

David.

Your recent loss of Donald must be beyond words. I have never seen a closer father and son relationship than yours.

I will always remember our hike on Angel Island together, just a few years ago. It was you, Donald, Kathy and me.

We spent the afternoon hiking the 6 mile loop to Mount Livermore, the highest peak on the Island. I remember how tired I was and how amazed I was that Donald not only took on this hike with us, but actually completed it in full.

Godspeed Donald.

Jim & Kath

David,
I keep thinking of the good memories. I truly enjoyed his company and his sense of humor.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences
Pedro
