Just bringing Merv's post back up with a little more information. This restaurant is the one where we have had our Friday evening dinners for the Friday Harbor get together.The fire started about 2AM, crews from San Juan Island as well as Lopez and Orcas came in by ferry and fought the fire for over 3 hours mainly trying to keep the fire from spreading to other buildings or docks. No word yet on causes. No indication of any injuries. I have e-mailed Debbie, the owner, expressing our concern and letting her know that the C-Dory group is thinking of her.
