Email thread response

Hey mods,

A quick site question (maybe a stupid one too!). When we get an email notification that a post has been made on a subscribed thread, can you show us the post too?

On all of my other forums I can see the reply on the email. I don't have to click on the link.

I know, I know...It's a serious 1st world problem and is very important. Lol
 
Jason, It appears it is no longer done on this website? I have not received any response to subsequent thread posts in over a couple years!

Barry, I get the emails but not the actual reply in the email.
 
Barry, check your profile. There is a box you have to check to receive email notifications of new posts in a thread you are following.

Jason, the email contains a link you can follow to take you directly to the post.

Robert, I understand that. But on every other forum that I'm a member of , it shows you the reply that was written IN THE EMAIL.
 
There are 2 places to mark for notification. One in the Profile and one at the bottom of the "post a reply" page.

Only one for the forms, that I am on actively shows me the post--and that is often once a week. Many have no notification of any sort.

I suspect to forward the actual post would be a bit more complicated--and might even might need a different forum host URL

I think that our moderators, and keepers--Tyboo and Da Nag, do a great job. All you have to do, is click the link to go right to the e-mail you are "subscribed to"
 
While we are in request mode - can we add 2018 to the model year for the boats? My boat is a 2018 - but shows as a much different and lesser 2017 (sarcasm) on my profile.

Barry, sometimes email gets filtered by your ISP and sequestered as spam. You might check your spam filter with them.
