Has anyone used an escrow service to sell or purchase a boat?

ex.
An escrow service like Escrow.com reduces the potential risk of fraud by acting as a trusted third party that collects, holds and disburses funds according to Buyer and Seller instructions
 
Brent, We used one for the sale of a documented trawler which had a loan against it. It could not have gone smoother. They know which i's and t's to cross and dot or vice versa. It went down just like a house deal with a title company.
 
Boat US has an Escrow service for boats. They also have proper forms.
On the other hand, I have pruchased two used C Dories from private individuals, and sold one with no issues at all. I rarely have used a yacht broker in the over 25 boats I have bought and sold thru my life.
