Was just looking at another link and was wondering if anyone has heard/seen an update from Scot Reynolds or anyone at the factory on dealership plans/options for the 2008 boating year? Not sure how long it has been since the 3 different factory dealerships rosters have been updated.

Was looking for the closest C-Dory dealership to me now that I have move up to TN. Looks to be Stateamind in MO just outside St. Louis. Have a call in to them now on some friends of mine that want to take a look at a CD25 & TC255 that live up this way.

Looking at the factory site, I am also wondering if some of the dealership areas as far as being able to get the CDs, TCs, Ventures & Skagit Orca's are changing? It would seem that any of the dealerships should be able to order from the factory any of these boats without different contracts/agreements. The dealership "footprint" in America (& BC) is changing for sure and looks different than a year ago. Part of the fun and excitement of putting together your boat is the wait for it to be built and/or rigged out!

Heard Les/EQ ordered a couple of boats, but not sure if they have heard back from the factory yet or not??? Les and his small, very personal staff do a wonderful job. Many of us have had to experience the wait time to allow his folks to build our boats. I hope that remains an option in 2008. For sure enough boating waters and interest up in the NW corner for more than one or three dealerships, each with a bit something different in what they offer for these neat pilothouse boats.

One thing for sure is if a person wants several options of different type of enclosed boats, the C-Dory factory has plenty to choose from. Hope the 2008 year is a good one for all.

See yall up in the Seattle area around the Jan08 events.

Going to be spending some time cleaning up C-Byrd today. Need to give her some water time and run some fuel thru her with some stabilizer added.

I took the Lori Ann in to EQ yesterday for a major refit. It's going to be there for a month or two as his new boat customers take priority. I was talking to Les about water leakage warranty work and he is going to try to do it for me -- says that as far as he knows he is still a dealer. You wouldn't know there was any doubt, based on the number of C-Dories there for work.

Found out yesterday that Jett's Marine, a Honda dealer along with several lines of new boats has been approached about being a C-Dory Dealer. They're going to take it I think. Nearly all the way to the end of Rt 360 in the Northern Neck of VA about 12 miles away! Have offered to take them for a Tomcat ride.

Like to think I had a hand in it, recommended them to Jeff Messmer when he was at C-Dory a couple of years ago.
