FACTORY WEBSITE SHUTDOWN?

I just finished trying to get onto the C-Dory website from a couple of different angles.

I get the same message: not available

Do you think they all went to SBS and shut it all down for a couple of days?

Pat

The new factory website looks great! Kudos to C-Dory for showing that these are more than a boat - they are a lifestyle. :thup A very LARGE STEP in the right direction.

I'll look forward to hearing what the Brats have to say after the factory gathering.

Best wishes,
Jim B.

You guys really move quickly as I intended to post an announcement as soon as the new site was up and running. Yes - the C-Dory website is new and improved (hopefully). This is the foundation and we will add more to it over time but wanted to get at least this refresh out there for the first of the year.

I think Sam did an excellent job on it. We welcome your comments and especially your keen eye for the truth. If we have made mistakes on it - please let us know.

Thanks-

Rich F.

Hey- look at this! In my email inbox is a note from Rich announcing the new C-Dory website!

I guess I should look in my mailbox more often!

I'll tell you, from our perspective, the relationship we have had with C-Dory so far has been fantastic. So different from previous line we have had.

Good job Rich and Sam!

I just noticed an obvious error in the pdf specs for the 16' Angler. The cockpit measurement is listed as 5' x 3'. I believe it is more like 5' x 4' or so. 3 seems a tad narrow.

Man that site looks great! Kudos!

I noticed that the Venture 29 and the center console are not listed. Dropped or just not listed yet?

Also; the fuel consumption specs for the Venture 26 seem too good to be true.

Nice looking site indeed, much more user friendly and full of useful information and pictures.
My only complete is my CD doesn’t even come close to their fuel consumption estimates, but we load her up.

Economical cruise ranges from 12 ~ 20 MPH at well over 5 MPG.

Definitely need to leave some gear and fuel behind and go on a diet. :sad :D

Folks, this is a VASTLY improved C-Dory web site, and that has NOTHING TO DO with the fact that you can read "Pat & Patty's Story" in the testimonials! Kudos to Rich Finlay for figuring out that the whole deal is really about about the community of people who love the boats and all the wonderful places they go and things they do, and to Sam for pulling it all together, both the brochure and the web site!

The max horsepower for the TomCat is now 350. Didn't it used to be 300?

Ha...this sounds like Marc's doing from Wefings! I think he mentioned Tomcats rigged with twin 175's. That would be fun to take a ride on a Tomcat with twin 175's...

The copy for the Tom Cat "features" page needs to be edited -- incomplete sentences, use of "it's" incorrectly, etc. Otherwise everything I saw was very, very nice!

Nice shot of the stern of Reel Knotty"s twins beside your testimonial. That beautiful scenery is Quesnel Lake in the central interior of BC.

Well, guess Mike (Tyboo) will be updating our own (embedded) links. Just caught a very brief look to validae the site was up, but it looks great from what I saw.

I don't see Owner's Manuals, but let's face it, they all needed updating and I'm sure based upon what they've done to upgrade the maturity of the website, they will be following up with for Owner's Manual's.

I think perhaps, the site might be served well if it also listed parts and accessories where owner's could purchase or at least links to the parts C-Dory (Fluid Marine) obtains parts for the manufacturing of their vessels e.g. Wallas, KISS, RuleMate, Hydraulic Steering, Fittings, Hand Rails, etc.

My 0.02 (and not a penny more)

Hah, you caught us! We had a customer last spring that wanted 175hp Suzuki's on his TC255 (he likes to go FAST) so we called C-Dory to see if it was possible. What made it happen is that the Suzuki 150 and 175 weigh exactly the same. The only difference between the two is the electronically controlled variable valve timing. Ralph is averaging 2.75 to 3 MPG across the entire RPM range and topping out at 54MPH with tanks half full and medium load. I have to believe that you could barefoot behind it! We currently have the second boat with 175's in stock and available...anybody want to come down and play?
