Firefox / IE question

I reviewed the sticky on inserting pics in my post. I need to keep IE as my default browser (business issues with Deere and Company). Can I download Firefox and install BBcodextra extension - and get it to work if I leave IE as my default browser?

I know you can switch default between each as needed - but that would not work for my wife.

Our newest computer here at the office is running both IE and Firefox, because some of the sites used by the companies we deal with won't work with IE9 so we have to use Firefox for access.

Both are living peacefully together.
 
Yes. You can have both on your computer and leave IE as the default. Then just run Firefox when you want to.
