First underway photo

First picture I have of my boat underway. It is hard to take one yourself, so we are the generosity of others. Kevin & Tammy of the DogHouse was kind enough to take several of me underway at the Sequim CBGT. This was taken in the Straight of Juan De Fuca on the way to Port Angeles.

I like it so much, I decided to make you people look at it.

Thanks Kevin & Tammy.

Well, it worked - we're all looking! And a fine looking boat she is.

BUT, where the heck is the skipper???? Looking through the window, it appears there is no one at the helm. Were you lying on the floor crying again?

Your pal,
Jim

Jim – you better be nice to me. I know where you are and instead of a camera clicking that other picture, it could have been something else. :wink :wink

If you look close, you may have to blow the picture up to see it, but I am in the middle of the opening in the back of the cabin, looking towards the port side. I was taking a picture of Slow-N-Easy when this picture was taken.

I had tried to take pictures of the DogHouse and Slow-N-Easy earlier, when we were in rough water, but all I got was the sky, the water or the floor of my boat. Every time I let go of the wheel and focused my camera, a wave would hit the boat just as I clicked the camera.
