Floating Back Fibreglass Deck

I have a 2002 22ft cruiser. Recently I saw a 2008 and it had a 2 panel floating back fibreglass deck “add on” and I was wondering if and where you could buy such a product. It was great for dealing with always having a wet deck. Any info in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The two halves part cockpit deck appeared somewhere in the late 2006 era. I believe it was an option. I really liked it--but it does add some weight. A year or so later the boats came with a glassed in level cockpit deck.

I looked at a '06 cruiser that had these. I thought it was a great idea. Shortly thereafter, I bought a '08 with the flat floor, but it is not removable.

The factory might be able to make you a set (if they still have the patterns), doubt it'll be inexpensive though.

I bought a 2005 22 that had the rounded floor. When the factory came out with the raised flat floor I bought just the floor piece and had a shop glass it in for me. Mine was the only boat to do it but you could ask the current factory if they would be willing to do that for you or sell you the floor piece and have a local shop do it.
