Ahh yeah Bud...:thup :thup grab it, if you get it cheap. :smilep :star But if you want the best.... get the new Yami 1000 (there better!----go look at specks) In any case, that little Honda is still state of the art! You'll love it! The 2000 is the Cats Meow though.

I was pretty close to getting a 1000 myself, but I knew I would like to run at least a 1500 watt' heater, and I did not want to push any "Gen to its full capacity.
The major thing I did not like about the 1000 is the tiny fuel capacity. I see (in snowmachine technology) reserve fuel supples tapping off the tanks vent; and siphoning-off the added tanks that way! it works flawlessly. You can use it all night or all day, running a 500-watt heater (half capacity) maybe even a 700 watt (or there abouts) heater, if you tap into the fuel cap, to siphon-off a reserve tank (does that make any sense---lol)

OH... The story is now compleet with all the PIX!!! Took me for ever :crook :disgust . Just clicky that Fancy Link in the prior post, to get to it... DO IT!! :disgust

OK... here's a sneak peak ... (this morning, leaving anchor  )

Greg, Fantastic photography and accounts of your latest trip. How lucky you are to live close to such wilderness and nature. I was wondering what pitch prop you run on the high thrust? Hey, is that the secret invention I see in one of the photos? :thup Keep posting those great articles.

Greg, absolutely fabulous account of your journey. What places you put RF and yourself! Beautiful photos, too. I think it's safe to say you're unique. Quite so.
Thanks for the entertainment. Beats any $9 Hollywood production.

C-Weed Thanx  . From what I have checked into (last year) they tell me I have the only pitch available for the "8-hp high-thrust" Sort of makes sense to me, being it is a true high-thrust. I don't recall what the OEM pitch is? (it's waaay down there for an eight-horse :!:

Bill and Brock, my heads gonna explode  . Thanx so much guys :thup El and Bill really got me inspired from the start... there are so many that have fueled my engines here, and it was old TyBoo-Mike that made-me-famous in the first place... :cigar :beer  | I'll keep at it, it's good to keep the old-noodle goin' like that while out in a place so lovely and wild... :rose .

More snowmo-pix comin'... :rainbow :xseek

Jeff, I'll PM ya on that.

Ray. A "baloney skin track" is how we mountain riders with the long and deep-padle-tracks make fun of flat-land machines tracks, since they have no "paddles" (to speak of) ... we just call them that, cuz they don't have any grab in the "steep and deep" 8)

OK. Here's a lil-sumpin I did on the "tow rig" today! could get you inspired :idea :smilep
