Free, Fiberglass lagging, and No see-um netting

I have two items, which I used when outfitting the current C Dory22.

The lagging is 2" wide Fiberglass exhaust shielding which I used when I installed the Wallas Stove. This is about 3/16 thick insulation, well woven, and works great on stove or heaters exhaust. I also have the SS ties which one can use on each end.

The No See-um netting is army surplus, much finer than usual insect screen--and is enough to cover a large tent. I have taken two pieces about 18" x 18" and 24" x 24" out of this section of fabric. It does have seams, so you have to find areas to cut out which are the size between the seams.

I hot glued velcro to the edges and use one to cover the front window, and the other for the fore deck hatch. No bugs get thru.

I will send these to whom ever wants them for the cost of postage.

if you have enough left Bob, I'd be interested in the screen. (I'd like to do something for my front center window.) Any chance there is enuf for the entry door? Colby

OK, Mike got the message off to me first, and he wants the lagging and screen. I believe that I have enough screen for both of you.

Colby, send me an e-mail with your address, and I will see if I can get enough for both of you.

I have looked at the screen, and there should be plenty for both of you, and maybe some more. Tomorrow I will measure the exact amount, for fore hatch, front window, and back door. Then I will cut out pieces for each more that what is needed. This will allow me to see if there is more screen for others.

Instead of sending me the postage, I'll let you know what it is, and you can donate that amount to the C Brat site.

Thanks for the quick response.

I got the screen roughly cut out for Mike and Colby. They are getting full door, front opening window, and foredeck hatch.

I had enough screen to make four more sets of hatch and opening front window screen.

The cost, is donate at least the amount of postage to C Brat site.

Send me a PM if you want a set. These are roughly cut, with enough fabric around the edges. I hot glued Velcro to the edges and around the openings--makes a great cheap set of no-see-um screens. Mil Spec!

Sounds great Bob. THANKS. Next question. How does one donate to the site? Is paypal available? Colby

Late note. Never mind on my next question. I opened my eyes and saw the really big link on the main page!

Three individuals have had "kits" sent to them. I have two window and hatch sets left. Any one who wants them?

There may be part of a second screen, and if I find than on Sunday, there can be at least one more door screen.
