Fuel Lines

I am looking to replace all my fuel lines and connectors. Does anyone know where i could order some USCG approved fuel lines. Thanks Tug
 
Tug,

If you want plain hose, look at Defender. They have Trident "Barrier Lined" Marine Fuel Hose Type A1-15 #365 - For both gasoline (petrol) and diesel (including alcohol blends). They also have fuel clamps.

Boris.........will order some.....what ....* ID * ( internal dimension ) hose does everyone use on their , CD's.....Thanks .Tug
 
Tug,

Measure the outlet fitting on your gas tank to find the outer diameter (OD) of that fitting, and then use that for the inner diameter (ID) of your fuel line. Also check the OD of any fuel filters and the inlet fitting of the outboard(s). They should all be the same, but it would be wise to check.

Figure out how much hose length you need and then buy an additional 50%. Unless you have a hose stretcher. Sorry, I loaned mine out and the guy never returned it.

Is the primer bulb in the fuel line suppose to stay *** hard ***.... is there an air leak somewhere in the fuel line if it doesn't...Tug
