Fuel lines

So I was reading an article on the internet and found that in may of 2010 the Coast Guard Changed the requirements for manufactures making fuel lines and primer bulbs do to separation from E10. Now after reading this I thought should I been changing out my fuel lines? Has anyone heard of this?
 
Yes - My fuel lines were hardening and when I went to replace them I was informed of the change. On the new hose is: MPI MARINE FUEL 350-0560 SAE J1527 USCG TYPE A1 ISO 7840-A1 CE 5/16 ID USA
 
I will have to find the web site again but it was stated that boats built before 08 would be affected. But again Im going back now trying to find the article. looks like all hoses have to branded SAE J1527 as that is the specification for alcohol resistant hose.
