Good Morning

Mike, That ones a keeper. Hard to beat a day like that. I love the early morning water, almost any kind of water EXCEPT whitecaps.

Thanks for sharing.

My daughter took this picture while we were fishing in the ocean and I meant to post it this morning.

Mike,

Are you out up towards Long Beach or straight out from the mouth?

I really want to get your old boat, Tyboo I, down there this summer.
Yes, I did buy your first 22 from Ryan on Whidbey. Loving it and all the customizing you did!

We went pretty much straight out from the CR buoy to about 300' of water. All we got were small coho. Kept two out of maybe a dozen hooked. One other coho with no fin and a little bigger than the first two keepers was foolishly lost by the skipper thinking he could lift it into the boat with the leader like he had the others.

A week or so ago we got one decent coho and a 15# Chinook, then a couple small coho a few days after that. These one and a half million coho better get up here if they want to live up to the hype. No worries about the size, they will be twice as big in a month.

That would be so cool to see the first C-Dory again! Just don't ask me to explain how and why things are like they are because I got a little carried away I think.

Here is an evening pic from last night of me and two of my great grandkids heading down the beach for clam digging.

Nice! :thup

Two great grandkids - you are, indeed, blessed. No grandkids for us, good, great, or otherwise. I have talked with my daughter and son-in-law, so I know they understand the process. She explained something about "That ship has sailed."

That image makes my heart smile!

Best wishes,
Jim
