Good Samaritan?

I am hoping there is a good C-Brat Samaritan or two out there who can help me on their way home from FH (or any other time, for that matter.) Here is the situation:

My 22 is in my Skyline Marina slip. I am having problems with the starboard shifter, particularly getting it into reverse. I have made arrangements to have EQ replace the shifters for me.

I was going to load it on the trailer last week but instead I had to take an unscheduled vacation at the UW Medical Center. Now I am home, but quite fatigued all the time due to the 2-hour antibiotic infusions I have to undergo 2x/day. I am reluctant to try to load the boat on the trailer in my current physical condition but at the same time I would like to take advantage of my condition to have EQ work on the boat while I am also laid up.

Sooooo -- if some kind soul(s) would undertake driving the boat "around the corner" from Skyline to Washington Park and loading it on the trailer I think I can handle taking it over to EQ during the week.

Thanks, guys.

Tom, we really do appreciate all you have done for us already but did not want to presume that this would fit into your schedule, etc. But thank you very much, and I will text you.

OK - I first saw this thread on my phone at work today after there had been two replies to it. Seeing that Warren had started it and had posted the second reply, I knew even before reading anything that the reply in the middle was from Tom and there was some helping involved. Thanks again, Tom. You are a good friend.

So Tom just picked up the keys to the 22 and is heading out for a mid-day halibut hunt. What a beautiful day it is today! When he comes back about 3 we will load the boat on the trailer and take it to EQ. A perfect win-win for all!

Fabulous story in here, and ts just shows to go you, that in the C-Brats, a stranger is only a friend you haven't met yet. If it hadn't been Tom, it would have been any one of quite a few other people...

yeah even the dam halibut won today. nice day on the water and I really enjoyed running a boat with twins. Not some thing I have done a lot of. Water was smooth all the way tolawson reef and back.

five boats out there with me but no fish for anyone today that I saw. Nice ride out and back and better then work. but with my new phone I was able to take 9 calls, 15 email and forward 3 of them, plus do a house search for a client and email him the listing all for my phone while on the boat. love it.

Oh not much. Some guy just wanted to sell you some stuff.

Did Les give you the lecture about 225 hp being a little more than you need for your new boat?

Yes he did but I never lesson. i have been running at 30 last weekend just to see how much gas it will burn, worst case and all. I did get it up to 40 for a few seconds after i burned off a lot of fuel and I was on the boat alone. it was flat water and a straight line so no big deal.
