He's heading back South in the morning after moving the axle forward about 3" to get a little weight off the tongue! He held up the boat while I kicked the tires! He got new tires on this one, he learned my lesson and so did I!

We'll watch him fix it up! A nice 22 as it is but will be much nicer when he gets done with it!

What it means is that I went through severe "CDory withdrawal". The admiral did not until the Gulf coast gathering and we spent a week on the banks of the st John's river in the RV! She gave me permission last week.

Thanks to Chris who had the boat ready to roll at moon yesterday and to Charlie, Who did the look over and took photos. Yep, Charlie picked up the trailer while I moved the axle--there was learning curve for both of us!

I will post the upgrades and changes as we keep this lovely boat simple! Note, I have kept up my pattern of buying a C Dory at least 1000 miles from home, based on photos and descriptions.

You all are too sharp--I'll have to double up on the donation!
 
Hope to hook up at least one more time in the Great PNW, if not, I guarantee we are headed to Charlie's in 2014 to start the Great Loop, maybe see you in Pensacola! Congrats!

Couldn't make out the logo on the hat, but I assume it was another curve ball!

Luckily I remembered you said in another post last week that you might be re-entering the market for another C-Dory!

Just heard from Dr. Bob, he's in Gastonia NC for the night. I offered to give up the Thataway name but he's thinking "Thisaway". :lol:

Long drive for him tomorrow but at least he's on the other side of the Charlotte NC commuters who will be driving the opposite direction!
