I know what your "next thing" is Dave. I bet it's Dancing With the Stars! Aren't you the guy who's famous for a little two-step on the hood of a CD 16?

The only thing I don't know is if you're gonna be the Star or the guy dancing with the star. Congratulations Dave! And David, too. And thanks to both of you.

I like volunteers. They're good people. I work with several hundred, each an enthusiastic character ready to help wherever needed. They make my job a joy, and I enjoy them.

Dave, thanks for your many years of volunteer service in your community. You and people like you make our country a better place in which to live.
 
DaveS, Congratulations on the first retirement, and on the years of volunteer service. Go check in the beeper, and good luck at putting the scanner in the bottom drawer and leaving it there. The body may not go but the heart is out there every time the tone-out rings, or you hear the siren. Might be different with doing it still at work, can't say for sure, but but the sleep will get better, and the time will fill. Thanks to you, and Dave of Anna Leigh too, for your selfless years of service. You are true heros in your communities, and God bless in the many years to come.
