Today is Da Nag's birthday. No...not the nerd who stole her name, but the wonderful lady who shares her life with me.

Luck struck me like a lightning bolt back in high school...little did I know, what a precious gift I was being given when approached by the cute little blonde girl. What she saw in me, I'll never know...perhaps it's her only defect. :lol:

Hey Dana,

:cake Was just thinking if C-Lou had moved this week instead of in January then we could have celebrated your birthday (and Bill's, too) by having a big cake with lots of yummy frosting. Do I sound like a frosting junkie - don't answer that as someone might remember my blue lips, blue tongue and blue teeth from the frosting that was on the cake at the CBC. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday :cake

Hope that you can make it to Lopez or Bellingham (maybe both?).

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the birthday wishes - I survived the day! It's the first birthday that people teased me, saying the age I've climbed to isn't "that bad". I have the feeling I'll be hearing that from this point forward. (Most of the teasing came from people who work for me, they get that one chance ... :)

I have no idea which gathering(s) we're attending this year - I need to check in with the event planner :). Hope to see you all soon though.

(Ruth, You might have a challenge with me and frosting! My favorite, and no doubt the most disgusting frosting is Safeway's on their white cake. We'll have to get a cake and split it, what do you think?)

Dana, You've got a deal.....looking forward to it. I actually won a white cake at Safeway last July because I was standing on the number that was called when they were having a cakewalk. Couldn't have been better, four days after my birthday plus it had lemon filling. It was so-o-o good!
