Merry Christmas to all! May you all be able to spend a joyful day with family and friends.
And, I'd like to offer up a prayer for all of the brave men and women serving in our armed forces, protecting the freedom and democracy of our great nation. We are so very grateful for your service and sacrifice.

Denise and I traveled back to MN for the holidays on Monday and Tuesday. Had a nice waterfowl hunt with some friends in NE LA on the way.
There was about 4" of snow on the ground when we arrived Tuesday evening, real pretty.
On Thursday we woke up to a nice fresh foot of the pretty stuff. Thru the night and today we have been blessed with an additional foot of the heaviest pretty white shit I can remember. Lots of sleet and rain mixed with it. It truly is just like concrete. Nuthin is movin here in the country. It's all locked up for a while.
AND, it's still coming down!!
What were we thinkin when we left sunny south Alabama anyway? White sand is real pretty and you don't have to shovel it!
We'll be diggin out and returning south none too soon.
Wishing y'all a Merry Christmas and lots of calm water in 2010.
Thanks for the call Bill. Thanks for the thread here. Thanks to the C-Brats I have seen and enjoyed some time with or talked with on the phone over the last few days. Thanks for those who participate in this site.
Have a very Blessed, and very Healthy New Year and may we pass on the waters, homes, airports, hotels or gatherings.
