Just want to say thanks to the guys that make this place such a fine place to be. And to each of the Brat family for being exceptionally good at "Just being Nice".

We have so many things to be thankful for and for each of us, the list may vary, but for all I want to say thanks and hope to meet more, boat more and above all, share more.

Happy Thanksgiving,

(and to my Canadian friends, sorry I missed your day but you are included in my thoughts here.)

As Hardee, said it's a pleasure to be part of this great group of people. My thanks also to all those who make this happen.

Happy happy, day, my C-Brat friends.

I'm thankful for my peachy wife. She really is swell.

And of course, life just ain't complete without furry pals...be they by my side on a run, bringing me dead animals, licking my oatmeal bowl, or just lying there with that look of "I rule this place" on their face.

I'm thankful for our countdown, which stands at a mere 5 months and 6 days as I type.

And lastly...my extended virtual family 'round these parts, fills in all the gaps throughout just about every day. Be it reading of adventures I plan to copy, sharing the excitement of a new boat or toy, commiserating with the occasional tragedy, or spanking the occasional bad boy - y'all keep me interested, entertained and fulfilled.

Here's a recent article in the N.Y. Times that discusses how expressing gratitude makes one happier overall and generally leads to healthier behavior (e.g. working out more). So in that spirit -

Thanks to Bill and Mike for creating this place and keeping it running.

Thanks to Les, Carl and Kathy of EQ Marine for providing consistently good service at a good price. I know I can count on you guys when my boat needs work.

Thanks to Dusty for being willing to spend some time with this "youngster" when I wander up his way.

Thank you Ruth and Joe - for just being darn nice people and for always bringing cake to CBGT's.

Thanks to Pat and David for always bringing beer to the CBGTs and for being generally good guys.

Thankyou Patty - (for putting up with Pat ) and for being such a genuinely nice gal.

Thanks to Warren and Roger and Thataway Bob for sharing their insights about the TomCat and to Warren and Lori for giving my co-owners a ride in one prior to us getting the one we bought.

Thanks to Alok for giving me some tips on setting up an LLC for co-ownership.

Thanks to Roy of F. Silvestris for selling me "Meant to Be".

Thankyou Scott and Jeff of Triton for putting on the gel coat repair class.

Thanks to all of you for all that you do and for realizing that if I left you out of the above, it doesn't mean you're not special.

Marie, Angel and I all send our "Thanks" to all of the C Brats for being a part of our nautical extended family. C Brats is a very special place, because of those very special people who run and contribute to it. There is not only the spirt of helping our fellow boaters, but the fellowship which comes with the gatherings, and those times when any C Brat meets with and interacts with another.

Despite our diverse backgrounds, we have a not more in common. This commonality leads to bonds which we carry all thru life. Thanks to all of your who have enriched our lives.

We wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving Day!

Bill said it: hugs and chugs. My sincere thanks for making this a place where people want to participate. No matter where we are, this place is a great "home port," and we are grateful.

One of my little truisms: boat people are almost always good people.

Happy Thanksgiving, C-Dory and Ranger Tug friends.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

PS Our turkey meal is done, the pumpkin pie topped it off... and we are heading out on Wild Blue.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! To my newest family, C-brats! We truly feel blessed for all of the abundence that we enjoy, the health to enjoy it and the means to get out on the water.

PS: I am also thankful for being able to access this great website that helps me to a more active, informed and safer C-Dory owner. :)

If we are on this site, as Roger said thanks to Mike and Bill, we have much to be thankful for. And yes Da Nag, I also am thankful for my wife.
