Have a great 2008 Thanksgiving, Brats. Not much to celebrate in the financial market but we can always celebrate family, friends, Brats, C-Dorys and the fact that we're still looking down at the ground.

can't believe another year has come and gone. form the 2007 post to nov. 26, 2008. the campbell clan will be celebrating thanksgiving at lake cumberland. we'll be missing ma campbell, 82. ma's now sailing in the great sea beyond. she made her final voyage nov. 7, 2008.

And we have received another Thanksgiving blessing: San Diego county has it's first rain of the season. It's the first true rain in ~7 mos, and we're thrilled and thankful. It's up to almost an inch.

Note: a false rain is just a drizzle.

Just want to say thanks to Mike and Bill for all their efforts to keep this site up and cool. To SeaWolf Joe, Wild Blue Jim, Bilk and El, Marty, the Rogers(all), Mark Wefings, Matt from Kitsap, Marty, Peter, starcraftTom, and everyone else of the brats here, for all the great stories, ideas and useful info and great participation.

I am really thankful to be able to come here for peace, quiet, intertainment, and excitement, news and views, and the occasional banter and ballyhoo.

Well, our daughter-in-law Annie (Lizzie's mom) delivered a baby girl this morning. But, because she's the baby's doctor and not the mom, she got here in time to mash the potatoes. After dinner Lizzie and I put on a production of "The Beauty and the Beast" for the family. (You know who played whom). Lots to be thankful for, and I include each and every C-Brat.
 
Thanksgiving, indeed. I hope it was happy for all of you, and I thank all of you for helping to make ours so nice.
