Hi all, Tracy here.. I have been spending these last few days visiting my Sister here in Silver Springs Florida. Getting ready to go back to Cold NC. LOL While I was heading into the hotel here I got THREE looks from the same man, whose wife I was sure was going to brain him at any minute. It was the shirt he was eyeing. It was my Chesapeake Gathering Shirt. LOL He finally came to ask about if I had a boat and if so did I like it? I told him of course we LOVE our boat and that all he had to do was go home..(You'll love this ) To Maryland and check out the C-Brats site and ask some locals for a ride and chat about their boat! So he came to Florida to talk to some one from NC about boats he saw in Maryland !!! I just SO love this site and the C Dory family ! Ya'll have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ! I'll be taking this cold weather back to NC with me tomorrow Mornning LOL. Larry says as soon as we get Christmas out of the way...we can go back to the St.Johns and explore more for the New Year yippee..lol Take care all Tracy

Great story, Tracy. We have the same problem when towing Halcyon - cars follow us for miles on a freeway and when we pull into a rest stop or service center, they come running over to ask questions - especially of El. We've had 18-wheelers follow us and once a Highway Patrolman (I thought we must have a problem with the trailer, or some such) but he came over at the next rest stop with a big smile and asked El (of course) - "How do you like the boat?" And a Merry Christmas to you folks. And we'll be thinking of you after the Holidays on the St. Johns - a favorite river of ours.

when are you thinking of doing St johns river system ?I've been thinking of that in feb let me know if that coincides with your time frame. we will be going to the Seattle get together in jan JIm (duckless) on Jennykatz cc-23

Tracy weather is starting to warm up since you are back in NC! If you are on the Saint Johns on New Years they have a pretty impressive fireworks show in down town Jacksonville at the Landing New Years Eve.

CD 22s are few and far between where I live. They do just what you have said, and then ask if I want to sell it.....If I ever do, I know just what to do; put it behind the truck and drive around for a while with a for sale sign on it. Then, of course, with my luck not a soul will want it. Go figure.....

I knew that the cold would come back with me ! LOL I got home around 2:30 this afternoon and the traffic was fairly light coming North that is.. . We have "shown" our boat to more folks in Florida than NC ! Usually we have the boat with us when someone stops to ask about it, that's a first for me to have someone ask about the boat because of my shirt. LOL I'll talk to Larry about when he's ready to go back to the St.Johns after Christmas. Our families might not like us just taking off tomorrow, since we are the ones frying the turkey and fixing the "fixins" lol. That would be bad for them to all show up here and no ones home.. lol. I'll drop a post when we decide when we leave. Have a Safe,Healthy and hopefully happy Christmas all ! :xlol Tracy
