HUGE public MAHALO to Roger & Janet!

I've been at home sick w/ the flu. So, imagine my surprise when I get today's mail and find not only a small box addressed to me but a birthday card to boot! All w/ a return address in Sequim belonging to our very own Roger & Janet (Dreamer).

I open the funny b-day card and it's filled w/ well wishes and a little re-enforcement that "...there IS life after 50". :lol: :lol: :lol: I then open the box w/ anticipation and find a gorgeous mahagony-wood [helm] hub w/ a gold WA State quarter mouned in the center! It's gonna be mounted as soon as I get back on my feet. 8)

MAHALO you to both of you for making this middle-aged guy's day and I will take your advice & experience to heart!

Happy 50th Birthday Mark! :cake :cake :cake

I started getting the flu on 2/1. Finally left work at noon on the 3rd. Was back for a 48 HR shift on the 14th and 15th, but still not totally over it. Hope your flu is not as long lasting as mine! Take it easy and diligently follow the orders of Nurse Meredith! :lol:

Thanks all! :oops: My b-day was on the 11th and it was the big 50. I can still remember yearning to be 18, so I could be "an adult". :lol:

I wasn't posting this for me to get some attention (honestly, I don't do well w/ attention :roll: ). I merely intended for this to be a public thank you to Roger & Janet...that said, this flu is kicking my behind. Yesterday I slept over 17 hours straight! Apparenlty, it's going around so batten down the hatches if you haven't gotten it yet...

I had/have the flu...I work from home but had to call in sick because I couldn't get out of bed for 3 days. It's a whopper.
