I hate foot ball and the sea hawks.

Read in a local Montana newspaper this morning an explanation for the Bronco's dismal showing. According to this pundit, before the game, Denver had a team meeting and voted not to show up. Nothing like adding insult to injury?

Yes I picked Niners over the sea hawks, and it was a good close game. Much better then the Bronco game.

And would still very much like to have my boat show with out the foot ball interference, is that a 10 or 5 yard penalty?? I watched the game because of my guest. He is a very big football fan and watches all of the games every week if he can. I like spending time with my friend so I suffered through the game  for the greater good. Hey at least I never claimed to be a Bronco fan, those poor bastards

:cry

P.S> Mark don't take it out on me if the press was bad mouthing your team.

Just be nice?

You may not like it, but a lot of people on here do, and it's not very nice to belittle something so many people genuinely love, whether you are right or wrong.

I like football, and I like boat shows.

I'm sure they cancelled the show because they thought they would incur the expense of being open only to have the place be empty. I'm sure the few people there would enjoy having the place to themselves, but the people who are there trying to build their businesses probably don't want to spend a Sunday at work for nothing, especially Superbowl Sunday. That seems reasonable to me.

OK, the SuperHawks won, beautiful game. Even Judy was excited. And I thought we were being nice to Tom.

Let's get back to normal. Football season is over.

I only pray that I can get Journey On fixed before summer.

Its odd that this has become the official thread for everything Seahawks
In that case... How about them Cubs? Spring training is not too far away.

Baseball? Now THAT is a useless sport.....

 :P

football isn't over, there's a least a week more of superbowl disection and then the draft. Once football is finally over this will have to tide us over untill the seasoon starts again

NFL Combine...then the draft....then baseball season... ugh...watching baseball is like watching paint dry. Luckily it's during the summer and I can be on the water...not watching men try to hit a ball with a stick.

I hope tomorrows parade doesn't inconvenience anyone

It will. There is no way around it. Latest estimates are over 300K people in the city for the celebration. Our dept is stretched thin along w/ Seattle PD to provide all the needed security. Help is coming from various surrounding LE agencies, including WA State Patrol, but still....we had 35K at the going away gathering and crowd control was a disaster.

Traffic is going to be so bad that Susan's weekly meeting with her boss is canceled and he told her not to come in until afternoon. So now I get to sleep in with my wife until 10 at least. Now that's worth forgiving the hawk's for.

Check out the parade and the crowds on KIRO 7. Holy cow, what a glorious day!

10:30, still in bed.

My ex boss and several friends have been on the parade route since 4 am. God they have to be cold.

Mark be careful.

Popping this back up to the top. I watched the "Sea-Hawk" parade yesterday. There is this chant, even the coach was leading the "Sea-Hawk" repeated chant. Maybe there should be a "C-Brat" chant.

In honor of the Seahawks....we could adopt the chant as .......
Sea....Brat
Sea....Brat
Sea....Brat

is that a motion? if so I'll second it....we need to maintain proper protocol in this internet yacht club :)

I wonder if the 2015 Boat show is going to have to shut down early again ?

I haven't bothered to wade through all 7 pages of rants about the boat show and the Super Bowl (but FTR I watched 2 football games this year, the conference championship and the Super Bowl. Had a good time, that was my football for the year.)

The point I wanted to make (apologies if already made) was that the boat show people knew for sure that their last weekend was the SB weekend, but who could have predicted that the Seahawks would be in it?

It will be interesting to see if the boat show folks move the show dates in anticipation of future Seahawk trips to the SB.

We now return you to your regular programming. :D

GO Hawks, What a win... TD in OT.

Seattle and New England Patriots, Russel Wilson and Tom Brady.

Seattle is RoCkInG tonight.

Sorry Tom, you may need more than ear plugs this year.

Again, Mark, be careful and Best for safety for all,

Harvey

I'll have to admit, there are times when my faith wanders a bit, but after that fine example of Divine Intervention on the Gridiron Tonight, I'm safely back in the Firm Believer Camp of God Fearing Football Fans!
