I can’t remember if this link has been featured on this site or not. Seeing as we have many new members, it may benefit them. The link will open a clickable map of Washington State that shows the boat launches and marinas, in the area you click on. You can click on the Identify button at the top, then the boat launch or marina for more information about that particular launch/marina.

As one of the NG's, thanks a lot for thinking of us. The site is interesting and helpful but one note of caution, several of the individual launch/mooring sites I checked hadn't been updated in 5-6 years so I wouldn't depend on the description without a local check. This may get me off my duff to go check the ones on Whidbey Island and if I do, I'll try to post updates.

I tried clicking the map in the area of Everett and it sent me to Richland!! Clicked on Aberdeen and was shown the area of Yakima!! What the heck?

Could be because it is reading my IP address in California and wants to f*^# with me?

I am not sure why it is not doing anything for you. There are four icons at the top of the map. They are Zoom In, Zoom Out, Recenter, and Identify. Make sure the apporpreate one is selected before you click on the map.

Try clicking on the Reset icon at the left top of the map area.

Dave, good job in bringing up the site. We have used it for quite a while too, very helpful. we access it through the www.boatwashington.org site. It has links to that and all the other boating sites along with fish info ,NOAA,etc.
