Interior cabin paint

I was surprised to see the interior of the cabin is painted. For some reason I had assumed it was gelcoat also. I am going to need to patch a bunch of areas in the cabin. Does anybody know what type of paint was used? Does it matter what type of paint I use to repaint in the cabin?

Thanks!

My cabin had a few chips, so I took one to the Spectrum Paint store, and they did a perfect color match. They said “PPG Breakthrough” will stick to anything, and it certainly did. It was a satin finish.

Although the painted area blended in perfectly, later on, I painted the entire cabin. It looks fresh and new

Clay; FYI, most of the newer water based paints contain properties that resist mildew and mold. It would be best to thoroughly clean all surfaces you intend painting first until you have sufficiently removed all residues. It might also be wise to lightly sand with 200 grit paper the areas you intend painting to provide a "tooth" the paint can stick to.
