Introduction

Northern Pike

New member
Hi All,
I like to introduce myself. My name is Peter and I just became the owner of a 19' Angler. This type of boat is new to me and I have a lot of learning to do. I also own a Wood Canvas 22' Freighter Canoe, which is a way different boat. C- Brats is a great site and I'm greatful to be part of it.
Thanks!
Regards,Peter.

Peter, welcome to this wonderful group of benign crazy people. Wow, not only a CDory, but a big freight canoe as well. If you don't have a photo album, the admins can make one for you. I'd love to see photos of your exploits in YT with both boats.

Hi Peter, And welcome to the site, it will be interesting to hear about your boating experiences way up in that neck of the woods. I will be thinking of you as winter draws nearer to upstate NY and I realize that some folks up in your area might think of coming south to where we live to warm up!
Rich.

Welcome aboard, Peter. Some fantastic boating in your area & my overall favorite area anywhere. We have gone from Carmacks to Whitehorse & back on the Yukon, explored most all of Atlin, Tagish & Teslin Lakes & launched several times from Skagway to explore Southeast Alaska on our 22 CD. Along with more rivers & lakes in a RIB, so do know fairly well how good the boating is there. Will be great to here of your experiences there.

Jay

Hello and welcome Peter,
I purchased a 22ft angler two years ago and have found this site and it's members to be most informative and helpful. I am sure you will too.

Peter joined in Oct. 2011 ? C-Otter

The thread was revived by a spam posting that appeared just above Captain's Cat's post. The spam has been removed by admin.

What the heck, I'm sure Peter won't mind some more welcoming! :D

OTOH, I've been as guilty as the next guy in not reading the whole thread before posting - and not checking the dates of posts. It does reduce clutter and confusion. I will try to do better myself.

Peter,
Welcome to the CBrats site. Lots of good folks and good info.

A coincidence.....my wife & I will be passing through Whitehorse tomorrow on our way back home to Alaska. No time to stop this time as we have been gone for 6 months. Also I am towing a new boat back for a man in Anchorage and he is anxious to get it. Not a CD, just an aluminum tub.

Enjoy your 19' CD.

Thanks again for the welcome.
Jack, to bad you couldn't stop for coffee. I have been trough Ninilchik on the way to Homer a couple of years ago. It is very nice where you live.
Have a safe trip home.
Cheers, Peter.
