Its getting a joke....

Chris, that was really fast! Yesterday you were going to

"@ barefoot
Thanks i send some mails out... "

on edit: Chris removed his picture of Fishtales.

Which/whose boat did you buy?

That is a picture of Fishtales in the Delta..... I would know that boat anywhere.....someone better call Roger and let him know....his boat is gone..

Good catch Joel, would have taken me some time to find that. Here's the pix of Roger's boat from his album.

Check the properties on both photos, same photo, posted on Chris' site as "his" boat. Chris, somehow that doesn't seem quite right...

Hi

Sorrys, that picture is just to show how a good C-Dory looks like.
I will erase it .

Does anybody have a picture for me for my website?

Regards Chris

Chris, I don't think anyone would have a problem with your using a picture from one of our albums. You probably wouldn't even have to ask so long as you don't try to make your readers believe that it's your boat and the one you are going to use on your 2007 expedition. The long list of equipment under the picture and the caption would lead one to believe that. None of our pictures are copyright protected, so far as I know.

Good luck with the expedition, let us know when you get a boat.

Charlie

I agree....I called Roger, and he laughed.... he said he was wanting a Tom Cat anyhow.... in the picture you see the bow and dock line from my boat... in the Sacramento Delta.

Hi
The picture is erased.
I never was telling it is my boat, it was just to show a very good sample of a nice c-dory boat..... :D

I am in contact with somebody from the brads. He has a very nice boat, i will know in the next days if we will buy it..
You all will know soon...

Regards Chris

50K now? Hey, problem solved. I would imagine you will get a variety to choose from for less than that now. I've been in big ticket retail sales my whole life and the one thing that makes everything go smoothly is two reasonable people, the buyer and the seller. Good luck!

It just gets curiouser and curiouser. :crook

It reminds me of a kid I photographed this year... he was telling me all about his gorgeous girlfriend. I said something to the effect of: "You must have money, 'cause I don't see any other reason for a good-looking woman to hang out with you." He whipped out his wallet to show me a photo. "Oh, is that the photo that came with the wallet?" :wink "Take it out of the wallet and let me see what she wrote on the back of it." Yep... nothing. 8)

Or, the t-shirt from the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally: "I have a Harley, not just a t-shirt."

I was down at the boat last Sunday--- it was there at that time.
This whole thing is a blast.
Chris-- you can "use" Fishtales (photo) if you want-- just send me a copy of the DVD of the trip when you have it completed.

As helter skelter as all this has become, I have to wonder about how that expedition will go?
Can you imagine 2 plus months of this, first hand?
Mike on Huda Thunkit
