Well - today my wife and I had what is probably (God willing) going to be our last ultrasound. We are expecting our first child and it's a boy. :smileo :wink
So June 15th our world is going to change. Another chapter to our lives will open and another great adventure will begin.
I am looking forward to sharing the love of the water with our little boy. It's going to be fun having another crew member aboard, even if he can't help all that much with the lines for a while. :teeth

Congratulations at 61 years old the most memoriable times of my life have been boating and fishing with my dad when I was a kid. I still have the little green tackle box he bought me on my 6th birthday. You'll have to add to your priceless signature "fishing with my son"

Congratulations! Back in the 70's my buddies used to say that if I "ever had a kid and there was a choice of a quart of milk for the kid or a quart of oil for the Harley....the Harley would get it!". My how I changed! When I was 45 YO our daughter was born and now at the age of 19, she still makes me proud and there has never been a moment with her that I haven't been thankful for! The memories of your child on the C-Dory and everything else you do together will indeed be "Priceless".

Congratulations--- again and again.
Life, as you know it, will change.
You will learn a whole new language---- the language of the BABY.
Your hearts will swell when you here your first "Dada" or "Mama" and when you watch the first step----- and it is just starting.

Congratulations to you two. Here's a shot from your album...

Remember these times and always make time for more of the same. You will hear from everyone "how your lives will change"... true, but what a wonderful change. The best is yet to come.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan B.

I remember when my girls were small...enjoy it while it lasts...they don't stay small very long! Before you now it, they are grown and it's their wedding day...and you wonder how time can fly by so fast. You're going have a lot of good times. Congrats!

Congrats!

We purchased our first "big" boat when our boys were 3 yrs old and 8 yrs old. Most of our summers since then have been spent cruising the Great Lakes with them aboard. I can't even come close to telling you how priceless this time has been for us to have them with us and experience all the fun that cruising can be.

In the North Channel, we were on the hook for most of the 2 months up there. So, just think all the family time we got to enjoy -- the kids had no access to the Internet, no xbox to play -- just swimming, boating, fishing, playing games, watching movies, exploring the shoreline, and on and on.

Now they are 11 yrs old and 16 yrs old -- just a few years left and we plan to make the most of them!!

B&C,

VERY EXCITING!!!!

We wish you the very best with your new crew member.

P.S. We look forward to seeing you both and the little one this summer

Congratulations, and hang on. There'll be a bump or two, and it will be exciting, and enjoy for it will be worth it all. Life will accelerate above the speed of light and in about 4 steps, (born, first day of school, car keys and Prom night, and throw in a sports event) and Wow, grown, married and grandkids. Yes, and it does happen just about that quick.

Congratulations. Our kids have proved the reward for our living (as well as all the fun we've had along the way.) Also, pray for a girl. Even though the boys are great, girls are what hold the family together. Surprised me.
