Its time to thank Matt and Marc

Marc at Wefings and Matt Gurnsey at Kitsap constantly volunteer information, advice, and support here on the C-Brats site. Personally I want to thank them both for freely offering their time and expertise. I've never spent a penny at either place but I've gotten a lot of benefit from their generosity. So thanks to both of you.

Here, here! I agree. Also, have never bought a thing from either of them but if I was ever in their area I would surely stop in.

Thanks guys!

Marc and Matt are fellow boaters and fishermen and their enthusiastic contributions make them a vital part of our forum which wouldn't be the same without them. :thup

Here, here!

Not only do we get first class professional advice on boating topics, but we also get first-hand inside information on what it's like to be a dealer in the boating industry, which affords an invaluable perspective during these hard times.

I'd trust these two just like I would Les Lampman, another dealer we have worked with closely in the past.

Joe. :teeth :thup

Thanks to you all , its our pleasure as we are hopelessly addicted [chained ?]to boating , the industry ,and this enjoyable community that we share .
Marc

Matt, Marc, who give on this site with great regularity and passion, and another C-Brat (x-dealer) that we owe considerable thanks too, Les Lampman. I have stopped in at both Kitsap Marine where Matt has been cordial and helpful and at EQ where Les spent a great deal of time discussing the pros of the C-Dory line.

My hats off to you all, and Barry, thanks for starting this one.

I agree. MAHALO! 8)

They consistently provide insight, advice etc that I don't have or wouldn't know.

We bought our boat from Matt and he has been helpful and responsive to minor issues we incountered. The only reason I don't purchase regularly from Kitsap Marine is distance; it's at least a 1.5 hour commute (more like 2 hr) and a bridge toll to get to them from here.

I too would like to thank our participating dealers. I hope that we would always consider them first for our boating needs. You will always get good advice and knowing that we are supporting one of us is well worth the shipping charge, if any. It's a win/win way to go.

I would like to add my thanks and appreciation to Marc and Matt.

I bought my boat from Marc. Every interaction with him has reinforced my original decision to use his dealership.

Thank you.

Great thread. Perhaps overdue.

Ditto everyones feelings about Marc and Matt and while we're at it lets thank Bill (Da NAg) and Mike (Tyboo) for their tireless efforts to keep this menagerie up and running.

Here's to Y'all!!! :cocktail clink :cocktail clink :cocktail clink :cocktail clink

I agree also and appreciate Marc's insights and dedication enough that I bought the trailer for my new TomCat from him (even though he's probably the farthest boat dealer I could find from Seattle). He certainly knows what he's doing and he's a heck of a nice guy. Most importantly (in my mind at least), he fishes and we all know that fishermen are the best kind of people.

Ditto for Bill & Mike. I have been a C-Dory participant ever since the original forum-type web site for C-Dory owners originated as a Yahoo Group moderated by Dale (forgot his last name) followed by the C-Dogs and now the C-Brats. Bill and Mike, as C-Dory owners themselves, have created this user-friendly web site from which many much valuable information at no-charge has been available not to mention all the boat outings, gatherings, dinners, road/river trips and friendships that have been made.

I've already 'thanked" Marc by driving to FL from PA to buy a new boat.

I've shamelessly picked Les's brains by email and profited hugely from his down to earth and practical advice on the EQ web site. Thank you again Les.

I haven't directly communicated with Matt but I've learned a lot, of which I was unaware, about the state of the boating industry.

As for our splendid hosts what can you say? How do you say thanks for running the greatest boating site on the web? In addition to its social uses our site is distinguished by the depth and quality of its information, by the exceptional wisdom of its administration and by the overall technical excellence in terms of keeping the site fast and always available. Thanks once again guys :cocktail :cocktail :cocktail

I agree with kudos for the folks in the business who give us such great advice and help. I'll add a second to thank Les Lampman for all of his help and knowledge. He has always been willing to share with me.

Hopefully, their participation here has been beneficial to their respective businesses. But, beyond them being dealers, they are boat folks. :thup Most of us here participate because we love the boats and the lifestyle... and these guys know and live that, as well.

It's the sense of community and the consideration that make this place so special... for me, it is all the participants that make this place feel like "home."

Best wishes,
Jim B.

I appreciate the perspective that Marc and Matt provide and the "insider" information. Thanks to both of y'all! I had a great experience purchasing my boat from Marc and recommend Wefing's highly to anyone considering a purchase or service.
