Juneau Alaska boat storage / haul & launch

We are planning on taking our CD22 up the inside passage this summer and would like to store the boat on the hard in SE Alaska.

Decided to expand the search to include Juneau.

The plan would be to bring the CD22 up the inside passage, have the boat hauled and stored in SE Alaska, my wife & son would fly home, and I'd take the Alaska Marine Highway back to Bellingham where we'd have our View parked. Then the following year we'd fly into Juneau and take the boat further north and store again.

We won't have the trailer with us, so we would need the marina to be able to haul us out. Any suggestions on a marina that would be reasonably priced to haul and store our CD22 (outside storage is fine as we'll bring our cover)?

Thanks for your help.

The hard part is finding a "marina" that has the ability to store a boat. Fisherman's Bend at Auke Bay has a lift and limited amount of storage mostly for winter months. Across from there, right next to the city owned Statter Harbor there is a small unsecured yard with a lift. Not sure what the future holds for them since more construction is supposed to start in that area soon. Smith Boat Yard has a large fenced lot that stores many boats. They are near the north end of the Mendenhall River Bar. The Smiths are class act people, honest, reliable and diligent. That is where I have stored in the past and always felt secure with having the boat there. There is not much in the way of instant in and out launching here so you'd want to communicate your plans well with whoever you store with so you don't end up wasting valuable days trying to get launched or retrieved.
