OK, it isn't a CDory, but an Airstream travel trailer. Some time ago I posted about getting a trawler as our Portland base when we sell the house in town. We settled into a search for a used Airstream, and finally found one after a year of looking. It's a 1998, so just a baby by Airstream standards. Now Diana will have a home base for visiting the grandkids when we relocate to the beach.

I am trying to come up with a name for it other than the obvious Silver Bullet stuff. So far, Road Dory and Land Dory are leading the pack.

Any other Brats with Airstreams?

Well, it does have a relatively flat bottom. Congrats on the new rolling condo. Dividing your time between the boat and an RV is a fun way to go.

I don't have a name for you, but there is a podcast dedicated to vintage Airstreams... check it out on iTunes: VAP (Vintage Airstream Podcast).

Um, how 'bout: "Shiny Side Up"? :D

Best wishes,
Jim B.

I have a friend with a 1968 Airstream and it's just as solid as the day it rolled off the show room floor. How about "Road Dory"

Oops I see you already thought of that

I owned a "project" 26' Airstream a few years ago and learned that there are a large number of resources out there for Airstream owners. Congratulations on yours! Hope you don't have much work to do on it.

I used L-Dory for my posts to Baja when I went with the RV caravan last year, but you are welcome to take over the name if you wish.
