That is first class!

Looks good, Bud!

Helpful hint: keep your fingers out of the router.

First class workmanship! Thanks for sharing.

Too nice to be used as cutting board.

Turn it over to use it as a cutting board. I'm working on a new design that would have an inlay compass rose out of solid surface counter top material.

Nancy and Bud,

Would the solid surface counter top material have pegs placed in the bottom to make a secure fit inside a 10 in. x 14 in. C-Dory sink?

You have a great idea here!

Gary,

The current design has the bottom edges recessed to form a lip. The portion that goes into the sink keeps it in place.

My idea of inlay of solid surface would be the compass rose inlayed into the cutting board.

Here is a pic that gives you a visual idea. It's a chip and drink holder in this pic but the process and results would look the same.

That would give you a board that you could cut on w/o ruining the design. Just another thought that may or may not be practical.

To have a recessed bottom edge is even better! I will PM you. Thanks.

It looks AMAZING! I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I believe it got delivered to the post office yesterday. The Wife will go get it tomorrow (hopefully). With any luck I’ll get to put my hands on it Wednesday.
You sir are a artist! Thanks again so much and I will talk to you later this week!
