Hey Tom, good to see that you made it into the funny papers. :wink

ok, we are treading on thin ice here, or was it thin water?? either way have your artist call me to set up a sitting or my good side.

Now, Tom, ol' buddy, keep in mind that this is a totally made up story line. After all, you and I met in person at the boat show, not in an on-line chat room. I have no idea where Dan is taking this part of the story. But to give you an idea on just how fictional this strip is, can you imagine Molly the Cat thinking I'm a doofus??? Even though I brought her into this family, she minds Joan... but I know she adores me (probably because I'm the one who feeds her).

And that Captain Jim guy banished to the couch? That would never happen in real life.

And all the begging and finger in the air statements??? What's up with that? Now that I think about this, you and I should go to Phoenix and kick Dan's butt! :amgry

Oh, and who told you you have a good side?

Your pal,
Jim

Jim I'm sure you've heard the old saying "never ruin a good story with a mere detail like the truth." I'm looking forward to the day you launch without putting the plug in or get caught high and dry by the tide. Thanks for posting the pages. marvin

WOW,

We are famous honey!!!!

who would have thought that day would lead to this.

Boy i hope DAN can get the picture of you two dressed for alaska and tom and I in summer clothes at the boat ramp.

now thinking about it, maybe i shouldn't have been so eager to throw my husband overboard in winter to push the boat. Good thing tom was in sandles and shorts.

but if we had to spend the night on the boat and you heard my snoring. Then i would on longer be able to deny it.

this is so much fun. i am hooked like mini series.

I'll bet there is a sandbar involved in the next panel!

Hey do you think the site could get in trouble with the writers guild for providing the story line

The Cartoonists Guild of America isn't on strike. And to the best of my knowledge, Dan hasn't sold the movie rights... yet.

And to Dr. Bob: yeah, imagine staying with someone you'd only met on the internet? That doesn't happen in real life, does it?
