Lake Chelan

Looking for suggestions about where to launch our 25' C Dory. Will be on the lake for about 2 weeks. Want to spend time near the town of Chelan and cruise to Stehekin. Will need to park truck & trailer. Please advise. thanks, Ken

We'll be going up there in about two weeks, maybe even say hello!
Not having put a boat on the lake I can't offer any local knowledge.
The state parks charge $10 per night for parking. Lake Shore Marina charges $5, thats where we plan on launching.

Launch and park your rigs at Manson. The parking is gated and patrolled and the launch is very good. Watch the winds, they can get brutal.

Yep, Manson is the best launch. You do need to purchase a "use permit" or something, not quite sure what it is called. Often times there will be people at the launch that can sell it to you. It is a great lake, good fishing, but do watch the weather and look out for logs!

I also used Manson and it was manned the day I was there. The
winds in the afternoon made me quit and return and take my boat
out of the water. There was no place to hide either. Guess its
a every afternoon thing. Nice park and launch area, easy to find.
