Launch Sites - Puget Sound

Thanks all. I've made a list and will check some of them out fairly soon. Did a couple of launches out of Point Defiance when we were sea trialing the boat but I wasn't sure about overnight parking and forgot to ask. I'm told the guys at the C-Ranger factory use Alki when they want to launch one of their boats into salt water but I haven't been there.

This continues to be a great place to ask questions and get answers.

I forgot another one,it is at Day Island Marina, just south of the Tacoma Narrows, on the west side where the sound starts to open up. But the ramp is steep so you want to have something with a little grunt to pull your boat out with. You know I was just thinking, with all this water around here, and the shear numbers of trailer boaters in this area there really is not that many good ramps. kinda sad when you think about all the tax dollars we spend in pursuit of boating and related sports. But thats a topic for another day
